Creative Pinellas Arts Summer Camp Grant 2023

Registration Dates
Registration opens on February 1 for Residents and February 15 for Nonresidents. Registration must be in person at Highland Recreation Complex, Southwest Recreation Complex, or the Largo Community Center.

23 Theater Camps 

Broadway Bootcamp

May 30-June 17 | 9am-4pm | Ages 13-18

$395 Residents, $475 Nonresidents

Aftercare: 4-5:30pm; $10 Residents, $13 Nonresidents Per Week

This three-week teen intensive theatre camp is for the student who already has some performance experience and wants to dive deeper into musical theatre. Students will spend time working on vocals, movement, and acting in preparation for a fully staged production with lights, set, costumes, and their amazing skills.

 

Orientation: May 22 at 7pm

Public Performances: June 16 at 7pm and June 17 at 11am

 

Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr.

July 3-22 | 9am-4pm | Ages 9-13

$395 Residents, $475 Nonresidents

Aftercare: 4-5:30pm; $10 Residents, $13 Nonresidents Per Week

 

This camp’s safe and rewarding environment will offer campers the opportunity to explore introductory aspects of musical theatre, build lifelong skills, meet new friends, and perform on a professional stage.

Orientation: June 26 at 7pm

Public Performances: July 21 at 7pm and July 22 at 11am

Technical Theater Production Camp

July 13-22 | 9am-4pm | Ages 12-18

$250 Residents, $300 Nonresidents

Aftercare: 4-5:30pm; $10 Residents, $13 Nonresidents Per Week

Led by entertainment industry professionals, participants in this camp will learn skills in working with scenery, rigging, audio, sound and lighting equipment, while supporting the live performance of Disney’s Finding Nemo Jr.

Orientation: July 10 at 7pm

Public Performances: July 21 at 7pm and July 22 at 11am
