In an effort to help the animal welfare community across the nation, the ASPCA is launching a $5 million relief effort, which includes millions of dollars in emergency relief and recovery funds for animal welfare groups whose operations have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. Our grants will help shelters fund essential lifesaving services such as basic operations, adoptions and foster programs, which are proving to be crucial animal welfare services during this crisis.
| 100% of your urgent gift today will go directly into our emergency relief and recovery fund to support all our lifesaving efforts to help animals and animal welfare organizations across the country impacted by this horrific pandemic.
Our response also includes the creation of regional pet food distribution centers, provided in partnership with the Petco Foundation. Starting in New York City, we will give dog and cat owners free access to critical food supplies as the outbreak continues to spread.
