Vulnerable seniors depend on our Neighborly volunteers. In just 2 hours per week you can make a difference for a homebound senior by delivering a nutritious meal, a smile and an encouraging word.
Neighborly Care Network has been serving seniors for over 50 years. We could not do it without volunteer support. In addition to Meals on Wheels drivers, we rely on administrative help in our Feather Sound office. For more information and an online application, visit www.Neighborly.org\volunteer-opportunities.
Trusted Senior Services Provider since 1966
Neighborly is a pioneer in providing quality home and community-based services. We understand the responsibility caregivers have each day.
We are committed to providing our clients and their families with the highest quality services as we offer resources to allow seniors to remain in their home longer.
Safety is Our Top Priority
Neighborly puts the health and safety of our clients and the volunteers who serve them as our top priority.
Here are just some of the ways we keep volunteers safe:
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is available to all volunteers. Sites that are in other organizations’ buildings may still require that masks be worn and volunteers must comply.
- At several Meals on Wheels sites we offer curbside service for meal pick ups.
- Volunteers do not enter clients’ homes; clients are called ahead of delivery so they anticipate the time of their meal delivery.
- Volunteers practice physical distancing – meals are placed in grocery bags and hung from door handles.

- Mission Statement

independent living for individuals and families.
