Since 1987, Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy, Inc. has embedded its hooves in the Sarasota, Manatee and surrounding communities. We deliver a carriage driving program, hippo-therapy, therapeutic riding and equine assisted learning, Through respectful partnerships with our horses, we create an environment that promotes a life of inclusion, respect, growth, self-esteem and independence.
We are in significant financial deficit from being closed since April 1 due to COVID-19. Because of this pandemic, we have been deeply impacted and we are working hard to keep our programs and horses going strong.
We are asking for your financial support. Our horses need you more than ever and we are asking you to consider adopting your favorite horse. Horse adoptions help offset the expense of our annual costs of the care of our therapy horses which averages to be $10,000 per year or $835 per month. “Adoptions” can be made in a business name, family name, in memory or honor of – or any recognition desired. This is a great way to join us in helping to keep our wonderful herd of incredible
horses happy and healthy!
