On behalf of all the Pinellas school children we serve, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving CTK’s press releases space in your publication. A key component of our success is community awareness – letting the community know what we are doing and what we need. Publishing our critical information about our mission helps us accomplish this in a big way!
We are beginning to see direct results from being published in your publication. Donations have come in with a newspaper clipping attached to the check. We are receiving phone calls from residents wanting to volunteer. A handful of private schools have contacted CTK offering us gently used uniform shirts and pants. So many of our residents love to help others they just need to know what the needs are!
Thanks to your help we are off to a great start to making this Back To School season the best ever! And that we can measure by the smiles on the faces of our clients as they leave our stores with a full bag of clothes that fit and help them “fit in.” Think about the night before school – August 23rd. These CTK shoppers will be laying out their clothes and excitedly choosing what to wear on the first day of school. They will go to school feeling confident and excited. These students will NOT be worried about getting picked on. How great is that!
